What is Sports Massage?

Sports Massage can be used pre event to target specific muscle groups, after an event to help eliminate lactic acid and aid recovery,  when rehabilitating from an injury to help with a speedier recovery, and as an injury prevention method by keeping muscles conditioned.

Sports Massage is not only for sports people, or people with injuries, the techniques are very effective in helping manage muscular aches and pains that occur from stress, office work,  or general day to day activities that put our bodies under strain.

Some of the benefits of sports massage are:-

  • Increased circulation
  • Relief from fatigue
  • Increased flexibility and range of movement
  • Reduced muscle tension, cramping and inflammation
  • Faster injury recovery time
  • Promotes relaxation and well-being
